How long have you been the real estate business?
I’ve been in the Real Estate business for 16 wonderful years.
How long have you been a REALTOR®?
16 years, as well.
What do you enjoy most about the real estate business?
What I love and find most rewarding about Real Estate is being able to help buyers and sellers come together in achieving their goals; having a buyer get the dream home they’ve always wanted and having a seller net the most in today’s market. It truly is rewarding being at the closing table with both!
How long have you lived in El Paso?
I have lived in El Paso since 1985 — that’s a lot of years!
Do you have any awards or titles?
Last year, I was very blessed. I received an award at ¡Los Meros Meros!, an event hosted by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals®. I’ve also been featured in the El Paso Times’ “Real Estate Top Producers Executive Club” for the past few years.
Which neighborhoods do you specialize in?
I specialize in the Westside of town and Upper Valley.
Are you involved in any charities or community organizations?
I am currently involved in the El Paso Chorale Society and a member of the guild. Last year, I was involved in the El Paso Rotary Club.
What do you do just for fun? What are your hobbies?
Just for fun? Well, I love to spend time with my family, cook, garden, shop, and I love to sing. This is why I am part of the El Paso Chorale Society. I was blessed enough to sing this past December in the Handel’s “Messiah.” Traveling and going on outings with my family is a biggie. I also like to look at different markets in the cities that I travel to, looking at different properties that are good for investment. I just love real estate!
Did you pursue a different career before real estate?
Yes, I was a translator and interpreter.
How did that add to your abilities as a REALTOR®?
I’m bilingual. I’m able to communicate and translate to clients from English to Spanish or Spanish to English.
Are you married? Do you have children? Please tell me about your family.
I am happily married to my best friend. He’s my rock. I have five amazing children too! I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful family. We are all very close. We love to go to the movies and travel as a family. My husband and I are involved in their education and, currently, we are a part of the organization with the Coronado Orchestra.
Who has been a large influencer for you in your real estate career?
My largest influencer is my husband, Juan Uribe. That’s a no brainer!
Which schools have you attended, if any?
I went to Father Yermo High School and graduated from Burges High School in 1992. I also went to El Paso Community College and The Academy of Real Estate.
Do you have any REALTOR® designations?
I currently do not hold any designations.
If you could put on one word on a billboard for all to see, what would it be?
Faith! We all need faith in our hearts.
